In A Hundred Years (5:05)
This song was born out of the wisdom of John Thorne and a visit to a Maritime graveyard where I observed weathered and neglected gravestones and wondered who was carrying the memory of these lives.

Child of Immigrants (4:22)
A Coles-notes version of our family story and the dilemma of having your soul rooted in two cultures.

Two Step Life (4:11)
An ode to old-time dancing and the beautiful expression of love and relationship that this fading social activity
can be.

Highbury Home
Several years ago I made the acquaintance of an older gentleman who was living in a seniors home. He would lament to me that he was no longer able to have his daily whisky nightcap or to smoke the cigars he used to love and longed to be free again. His story inspired this song.

The Ballad of Dudley George
The killing of Dudley George back in 1995 was something that upset me greatly at the time. A few years ago I decided that I would do my part to keep the story of this injustice alive by framing it in word and melody.

Get Me Out of Las Vegas (3:15)
A simple song with a quirky point of view. How Elvis might have expressed his frustration with being trapped in his manufactured persona.

The Vagabond (4:01)
My mother was always quick to open the door to our house to “vagabonds” and give them clothing and a bite to eat. This song was born out of that memory.

What I Wish (3:44)
A comforting lullaby, in waltz time, that offers a hope for the future.

Broken Arrow
A poetic love song.  A series of images that express the dangers of love. I always wanted to use Cupid in a song.

Thibeault Hill
When we emigrated form Ireland our first house in Canada was up on Thibeault Hill in North Bay, Ontario and in this song I am painting a picture of that time in my life.
